A day in Amritsar

Now, I'm gonna share about a day about me in Amritsar, Punjab. My trip started on the morning when I was just leaving my hotel in Pathankot to take a bus for going to Amritsar.
The trip took about three hours to get to Amritsar form Pathankot. When it was on the way to get there, we took a rest at 'dhaba' (restaurant) to have a breakfast. We ordered Aloo Prata and a cup of Black Masala Tea. It tasted really good, but it was really cheap.

Entrance Of Golden Temple
The GOLDEN TEMPLE

So, after we arrived at Amritsar, we were going to visit Golden Temple by walking through Dharam Singh Market. It was a beautiful market with many peoples on there. Before we went in to the Golden Temple, we had to cover up our head and boarded up our shoes then went to inside the temple by barefoot. On inside, we saw many people praying and hallowing their body in the pool that located all around the center of the temple. Other thing, we saw so many peoples jostled to get into the gold building located on the center of temple.

After we had visited Golden Temple, we went to India-Pakistan border located around 50 km from Amritsar. There was a border ceremony which showed us dances and playing many popular songs between the two nations. The show lasted until sunset and we choosed to take a dinner on there before finally we went back to Pathankot.
