Every Indian dish can become your favorite!

A pic of a fancy dinner table supposed to be here. But I have to use what I have, so let's look at my gastronomic experiences and the happy moments.

Indian cuisine is a kind of magic!

My main fear was overly spicy food, what India is famous for. I was able to cope with it quickly. In cafes and restaurants it is enough to ask for less spices in the dish. At the campsite our meals cooked by Nepali chef. And here I have tried really spicy food. Plus, you will adapt over time. And dishes that at the beginning seemed incredibly spicy, becomes familiar.

Forgot to tell you one important thing. Majority of Indian population are vegetarians. So you have to be ready for fact that find meat food is really hard.

Tea and coffee are sweet and milky always. Everywhere in McDonald manager asked me 100 times, do I really want tea without milk? Water is always served, regardless of the drinks ordered. It is very appropriate taking into account the severity of dishes. Local people are big fans of strange salty yogurts, but personally I don't like it much.

I learned to eat anything with my hands and without a knife. Except of soups, of course. Here it is drinkable.

In 3 weeks in India I ate curry only once. And I cannot understand why it is believed that this dish is incredibly popular.

Because of the allergy on wheat I cannot try all varieties off Indian pancakes (flapjack, roti, puri etc.). It is use as a side dish. Sometimes I miss cereals that we cook in Russian cuisine.

I`d like to tell you about our favorite place in Naggar — small family Italian restaurant Nightingale at Manali. Each dish is cooked with love. Even Italian girl, who we met in one of the Naggar temples, said about it.

My main conclusion: not everything that looks not attractive is not tasty.
Don't be afraid to try everything.
